Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician


This is a second shift position. The hours for this position are 2:00pm – 10:30pm, but will vary depending on production needs.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for facility maintenance and mechanical operations. It is expected to analyze and correct electrical and mechanical problems on all equipment related to plant manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

– Perform electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on facilities and various processing equipment
– Perform pneumatic mechanical repairs on equipment as needed
– Set up equipment for production
– General facility and office repair and maintenance
– Complete tasks as listed on facility audits and work orders
– Maintain cleanliness of work area
– Follow all plant safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices
– Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

– Able to work in varied temperature environments (0-50 deg.)
– Good hand/eye coordination
– Heavy lifting required, some over 50lbs
– Continuous movement, and must be able to stand for long periods of time

Education and Experience

– High School Diploma or equivalent
– At least one year of manufacturing maintenance experience required
– Food production/processing experience preferred
